October 16, 2009 Special Meeting
A Special Meeting of the Rosendale Town Board was held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Rosendale Town Hall. The agenda for this meeting was posted at the Town Hall on the bulletin board and front door, at Player’s Bar & Grill and on the website www.townofrosendalewi.com.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tracy Swayze at 8:30 a.m. Supervisors Jeffrey Miller and Ronald Goeden were present. There were no electors and no guests present. The Town Board made a road inspection of all town roads to determine if any work was needed before winter. They also looked at future road work to apply for a TRIP Grant and at properties that are in violation of Fond du Lac County’s Junk Ordinance. A list of all needed road signs and road name signs was also made.
There are some roads that could use cold patch before winter. The road maintenance worker will be notified of what needs to be done. He will also cut any brush that might be interfering with road signs. It was decided that Hickory Lane needs to be wedged and seal coated. Chairman Swayze to get an estimate so that a TRIP Grant can be applied for. A list of road name signs that need to be replaced will be given to Clerk Tarnow so that they can be ordered. They will be ordered with the new specifications that Wisconsin is requiring by January 2012 on all roads that are over 25 mph. A list of property owners who are in violation of the junk ordinance will also be given to Clerk Tarnow. She will mail out letters to those individuals along with a copy of the Fond du Lac County Junk Ordinance giving them 30 days after receiving the letter to be in compliance.
A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried (3ayes). The meeting duly adjourned at 10:300 a.m.
