October 12, 2010 Monthly Board Meeting
The regular meeting of the Rosendale Town Board was held on October 12, 2010 in the Rosendale Town Hall. The agenda for this meeting was posted at the Town Hall on the bulletin board, C & S Player’s LLC and on the town website: www.townofrosendalewi.com.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tracy Swayze at 7:40 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisors Jeffrey Miller and Ronald Goeden as well as Clerk/Treasurer Roxanne Tarnow were present. There were 6 electors and 3 guests present. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the agenda. Motion carried (3 ayes). The minutes of the September 13, 2010 meeting were read by the clerk. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the minutes. Motion carried (3 ayes).
PUBLIC COMMENTS
-None at this time.
CORRESPONDENCE
-Matt Zimmerman, Building Permit Issuer had information from Carow Land Surveying on property at N8685 Cty Hwy M owned by Rosendale Dairy. The board is unsure of what they are trying to do so will wait for further informatiom.
-Recent legislation will soon require statewide electrical inspections of commercial electrical work in Wisconsin. The town adopted Comm 16, Wisconsin Electrical Code on July 11, 2006. We will need to decide in the near future if we are interested in assuming responsibility for commercial electrical inspections or if we want the state to do it.
TREASURER’S REPORT
-The financial report was given by Clerk/Treasurer Tarnow. Vouchers 9213 thru 9224 were paid for a total disbursement of $ 19,890.46. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the financial report as given and to pay the vouchers. Motion carried (3 ayes).

REPORTS
-We are still waiting on the surveying information from the surveyor on the list of town roads that the board would like to vacate.
-The town board held a road inspection on Saturday, October 2, 2010. The mowing is waiting until all the crops are off the fields so that it can be mowed back as far as possible. All road signs are clearly visible and no trimming needs to be done on those. Morgan Drive is completed as are the culverts on Olden Road and Oak Road. The Olden Drive culvert could use a little rock on the north side. Center Road needs some cracks sealed and Hill Road needs some patching along the edges. Chairman Swayze to notify the road maintenance man so those two roads can be taken care of. Possible road work for 2011 is Hickory Road and Zoar Road as well as a couple of culverts.

OLD BUSINESS
-None at this time.
NEW BUSINESS
-Rosendale Dairy’s Environmental Coordinator Sarah Babcock was present to explain and answer any questions about the proposed manure pipeline. One line would run under Cty Hwy M and the other under Olden Road. These pipelines would help to eliminate some of the truck traffic on the roads. We requested specific information from the dairy prior to the board meeting which was all received. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to grant permission for Rosendale Dairy to install the pipeline under Olden Road. Motion carried (3ayes).
-The Annual Fire Department meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rosendale Fire Department.
-The 2010 Budget Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will be held prior to the regular monthly Town of Rosendale Board Meeting.
-It was brought to the board’s attention that the property at N9261 Cty Hwy 26 is in violation of the Fond du Lac County Junk Ordinance. Clerk Tarnow to send them a copy of the ordinance and a letter giving them 30 days to clean up their property.

Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.
A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried (3 ayes). The meeting was duly adjourned at 8:19 p.m.
