March 10, 2009 Monthly Board Meeting
Rosendale Town Board Regular Meeting March 10, 2009
The regular meeting of the Rosendale Town Board was held on March 10, 2009 in the Rosendale Town Hall. The agenda for this meting was posted at the Town Hall on the bulletin board and the front door and at Player’s Bar & Grill.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tracy Swayze at 7:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisors Jeffrey Miller and Ronald Goeden as well as Clerk/Treasurer Roxanne Tarnow were present. There were 6 electors and 1 guest present. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the agenda. Motion carried (3 ayes). The minutes of the February 10, 2009 meeting were read by the clerk. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the minutes. Motion carried (3ayes).
PUBLIC COMMENTS
-Dana Hielke reported that she thought that the culvert on Springbrook Road near Highway 44 is plugged. The board will take a look at it.
CORRESPONDENCE
-Letter from Rosendale Memorial Committee for a donation for the Memorial Day Activities in Rosendale. In the past we have made a donation of $150.00. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to donate $150.00 to the Rosendale Memorial Committee. Motion carried (3 ayes).
-Pickett Steam Engine Club has filed a Public Event Application for a swap meet to be held on April 18, 2009 on their property on Olden Road. Since the next Town Board Meeting will be after that date because Clerk Tarnow will be gone Chairman Swayze called a Special Meeting on April 4, 2009 at 7:15 a.m.
-CD of Town of Ripon’s proposed Comprehensive Plan. Their meeting is scheduled for April 1, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Ripon, N8191 Douglas Street, Ripon.
- A letter was received from Attorney Sorenson in regards to the damage to the culvert on Rose-Eld Road by CenturyTel.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The financial report was given by Clerk/Treasurer Tarnow. Vouchers 8896 thru 8908 were paid for a total disbursement of $29,585.27. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the financial report as given and to pay the vouchers. Motion carried (3ayes).

REPORTS
- The final report from Huberty & Associates for the 2008 annual audit has been completed. Everything looks good and Clerk Tarnow has mailed a copy of the report to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
-Website update: The Town of Rosendale now has a website. The website is townofrosendalewi.com. Clerk Tarnow will have information posted on it for the April meeting.
-Agriculture’s Changing Face workshop-neither Supervisor attended
OLD BUSINESS
-None at this time.
NEW BUSINESS
-The Town Board will hold the yearly road inspection on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 7:30 a.m.
AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING
-None at this time.
Next meeting is set for Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.
A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried (3 ayes). The meeting was duly adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
