June 8, 2010 Monthly Board Meeting
The regular meeting of the Rosendale Town Board was held on June 8, 2010 in the Rosendale Town Hall. The agenda for this meeting was posted at the Town Hall on the bulletin board and at C & S Player’s LLC and on the town website: www.townofrosendalewi.com.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Tracy Swayze at 7:30 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Supervisors Jeffrey Miller and Ronald Goeden as well as Clerk/Treasurer Roxanne Tarnow were present. There were 7 electors and 1 guests present. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the agenda. Motion carried (3 ayes). The minutes of the May 11, 2010 meeting were read by the clerk. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the minutes. Motion carried (3 ayes).
PUBLIC COMMENTS
-None at this time.
CORRESPONDENCE
-Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation is holding a community Readiness Training course on Wednesday, June 30th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. This program is free of charge for representatives of Fond du Lac County communities. The town board will attend.
-The town has received an Application/Notification for 2010/2011 Construction from CenturyLink. This form gives Century Link consent and permission for construction, operation, and maintenance of telephone lines on or along town roads and or highways. Chairman Swayze will contact them to fix the typo error they have on the form plus discuss the culvert on Morgan Drive that has a line running through it. A motion was made by Supervisor MiIller and second by Supervisor Goeden to sign the form once both of the above items have been taken care of. Motion carried (3 ayes).
-Thank you from the Rosendale Memorial Day committee for the town donation.
TREASURER’S REPORT
-The financial report was given by Clerk/Treasurer Tarnow. Vouchers 9159 thru 9166 were paid for a total disbursement of $ 9,365.14. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to approve the financial report as given and to pay the vouchers. Motion carried (3 ayes).

REPORTS
-Guaranty Title Company has finished researching the roads that are being vacated. The files will be picked up on Wednesday, June 9, 2010. The information will be turned over to Jacob Land Surveying who will provide the town with a legal description and a summary as to who has title to the roads based on the title documents. When that is completed all information goes to the town attorney so he can finish the project for us.

OLD BUSINESS
-Chairman Swayze and Supervisor Miller met with Tom Janke, Fond du Lac Highway Commissioner about the process for the bridge on Olden Road. Grant money cycles are every 2 years. Funding of 80% is available through the state and federal government with 20% being paid for by the town. Tom will fill out the application for the grant for us and if it is accepted we should know by the end of the year. The state will pay all bills and then bill us for our share. This is a very lengthy process and will take several years to be completed.
NEW BUSINESS
-Pickett Stream Engine & Gas Club has submitted 2 Public Celebration/Event Permit Applications for events on July 2nd thru 4th and September 10th thru 12th, 2010. They are requesting a Temporary Class “B” Retailers License for both events. Operator’s license applications have been submitted for Henry Rivera and Allan Rielly. All necessary paperwork has been completed and fees paid. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and second by Supervisor Goeden to grant the above licenses for the above dates with the exception of the Operator’s Licenses which are granted for a period starting July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011. Motion carried (3 ayes).
-C & S Players LLC has submitted applications for a Liquor License, Cigarette License, and Operator’s License for Amy Wondra. All necessary paperwork has been completed and fees paid. A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and second by Supervisor Goeden to grant the above licenses for a period starting July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011. Motion carried (3 ayes).
AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING
-Report on Economical Development 101 Training
Next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall.
A motion was made by Supervisor Miller and seconded by Supervisor Goeden to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried (3 ayes). The meeting was duly adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
